The new feature is available from Tools|Parameter Converter (preview). This is intended as a replacement for the "Resolve without app name" option.
It lists all the parameters in the workbook (Workbook Parameter column) and the parameters it has managed to match in the session (Session Parameter). Using the state column you can work out what action is needed to repair the parameter link.
If you have Valid App and the Session Parameter cell for that parameter is green (i.e. matches exactly the Workbook Parameter cell) then this parameter has been found and no action needs to be taken. You can hide these by ticking Hide Matched Items box in the top left corner
When State is Missing App, it means the workbook parameter in the display only has a name rather than an identifier. When State is Valid App, it means the workbook parameter in the display has a valid identifier but the parameter cannot be found. When State is Function, it means the display has a reference to a function that cannot be found.
Suggestion column can be used to find candidate matches for missing parameters. It can be set to NameOnly which means look for a matching name rather than full identifier in the session. If there is a partial match, it will show in light green. Items that are in red and have no suggestion do not have any candidate parameters. You can change the Suggestion to First[3-20] which will do a substring match on the first x characters of the identifier to come up with suggestions. Depending on the length of the match the suggestions may be good or not. If you cannot find an equivalent parameter by any means you have the option to leave it as is or delete it from the workbook by checking the Delete box
When you have made all of your changes and matched as many parameters as possible you can press Save which will bring up a Save As… dialog so you can save the corrected workbook with a new name.
