Wideband Minimum Laptime is a setting that defines the minimum length (in seconds) of a Lap. Any lap that is below this threshold would not be shown in ATLAS.
In versions of ATLAS from late 2020 and early 2021 there is a persistent issue for several users with recorders in append mode where you cannot select a lap to compare in your secondary sessions. This issue manifests itself when you try to click a lap on the lap bar or in the lap dropdown after having several sessions appended by the recorders. What the user would see is that the lap that they are trying to select is not selected and instead there is another lap that is being selected in both lap bar and lap dropdown.
The workaround to solve this issue while ATLAS 10 team develops a fix for it is to adjust the value of Wideband Minimum Laptime.
In order to change the value of Wideband Minimum Laptime follow next steps.
- Open ATLAS 10
- Go to Tools > Options
- Go to Recorders > Recording
- Scroll to the last setting of the general section
- Change the value of Wideband Minimum Laptime
See the next image to find the setting once step 2 is completed.
The value of Wideband Minimum Laptime should be always shorter than the fastest lap of your racing series, as an example for F1 the fastest circuit of the calendar on recent years has been the external circuit of Bahrain International Circuit with laps under a minute. Wideband Minimum Laptime for this series could be between 45s and 55s.
The original setting for Wideband Minimum Laptime comes from as early as 2003 and it shouldn't be changed by default. However, with the latest issues found by users it may need to be adjusted untill a fix for this issue is available.
